The history of this brand, Parmeggiani, is like a modern tale of how entrepreneurship, craftsmanship and good taste could create luxury products. A simple luxury, a whispered elegance.

It all began in the 70's, when Franco and Wilma Parmeggiani decided to take over a little manufacturing company in the city centre of Modena. He had a great experience in the leather world, in the real manufacturing process and in the use of leathers, above all the most valuable ones. Wilma, his wife, an elegant good taste and the ability of anticipate the new fashion tendencies. The union was perfect. The results, surprising.
The little workshop quickly became an artisan company, producing luxury goods. Alligators, crocodiles, pythons and ostriches became handbags, wallets, belts and travel items, for man and woman.

The "made in Italy" is a peculiar element of the brand Parmeggiani. Each single stage of the processing, from the skins' selection up to the final packaging, are carefully followed inside the company from skilled craftsmen and it's all "handmade".

What makes Parmeggiani goods different, it' s the attention to details and a constant research on new processing, new texture and new finishing.

The distribution of this brand is highly selected. You can find a Parmeggiani bag only in the most beautiful boutiques, in Italy and around the world. Main markets, beside the italian one, are: Russia, Japan, United States, Germany, France, Korea and China.
